Took a trip out of town today / myLot

I talked about how I met a friend in this discussion: Well, Wednesday was her birthday. I have wanted to see her since she moved to Kerrville, but haven't been able to get out to do so. So, I let her know that I was going to drive down and take her out for her birthday. I'd've loved to do so on Wednesday, but I didn't get my money until Thursday. Besides, I'd've never been able to get out of town what with the Burger King burning. I couldn't even get out of my neighborhood that morning. So, I drove down today, Saturday. I took her to an Italian place, it was pretty good. It was so good to see her. I talked to her sister a bit, got to pet a few of her cats. We drove around to look at the Guadalupe River. It reminded me of old times with her.

The final story came after the visit to the medical clinic. I limped on back up the hill, everything in that campus is either up a hill or down one and then up...

thats nice that you were able to g o and see her anmd enjoy a meal together out. good friends do need to see each o ther to keep up that friendship

Oh, we write each other on the computer too, but you are right that sitting face to face with a friend is so much better.

@ElicBxn I miss my best frend but she calls me almost every day I think she gets lonely as she a people person and once she was let go from her job wrongly she has felt at odds with l ife as that was her job for years.they were told by the judge that they had to se d her her severance pay but they are being nasty about it They were told hey had fired her unjustly. b ut they did not offer her her job back and she wa so f urious with them she did not w ant it back.

@Hatley That is terrible. I don't blame her for not wanting to go back. She needs to investigate adding on additional "interest" for withholding the payments.
