Beautiful garden

Have you ever gone to some place and loved it so much that you wanted to return again and again? I have gone to several of those kinds of places. One of them is the Butchart Gardens outside of Victoria B.C. I went in 1974 and it stayed with me. I would shut my eyes and that was one of my "happy places." In the late 1990's my sister lived in Washington State and my mom still had her condo in Durango Co. I would fly to Durango and then help my mother drive home at the end of summer. Mom wanted to drive up to see my sister and wanted to know if I would help her. Of course, seeing my sister has always been a high point in my year. We took the long way up, stopping in Yellowstone so I could finally see the geysers and the Mammoth Hot Springs. Mom had asked me what else I'd like to do and I told her I would like to go back to Victoria B.C. and especially I'd like to go back to the Butchart Gardens. What brings this to mind today? I was reading a book I picked up someplace and a book mark fell out. Not really a book mark, but a ticket to the Burchart Gardens from 8-4-14. What a lovely thing to find in a used book.
