Thank you Safety 1st!

Both cat seats my youngest 2 kids sit in are made by the same parent company, the Dorel Juvenile co. They make brands such as Safety 1st and Cosco. Well, Thursday, the crotch buckle on the seat my son uses wouldn't release. He was stuck. Thankfully I managed to loosen the straps and get him out. As well, since we were not at home, I was able to put him in my 4 year olds seat. I ended up emailing the company later that day. This morning they emailed back and are sending me a new buckle free of charge. Usually they won't if the seat is over a year old(this one is 4 years old), but they wanted to ensure I was happy. So I should have the new buckle in the next 7-10 days. In the mean time, my 4 year olds seat has been turned into a booster, and we are using the crotch buckle from that on my son's seat.

It certainly is. I really think they should have just sent me a complete new seat during the recall 2 years ago, but they only replaced the shell.

It is good to read that there is some integrity and customer service left out there in the corporate world.

What a nice gesture of that company, we can rarely find a company like that nowadays. Good for you and your son.
