Have a good day? You talking to me?

Last time a lady at a register said "Have a good day" I turned to her and said, "Okay, if I find a good day I will break off part of it and give it to you." Why do they even say this anyway? It's a saying and nobody really means it. How you going? That's the most common one. Do you want me to rant about this? Of course you do. We all get those Tylenol moments when a person tells us to have a nice day and all we want to say back at them is, Yea, tell that to my migraine. Tell that to my barber who did my hair after the after the game party. Here's another one, I see this all the time in TEXT MESSAGES "WAZ UP?" What's on your mind? How's it going? If it makes you stop and think you probably want to just not text anything back.

When anyone says to me Good morning at work, my standard reply was What's good about it? If we are chained to the job having sold ourselves for 8 hours, it's can't be good.
