Why should I leave shoes outside the entrance of your house?

It is only recently when I visited a house in Sri Sailam I realized the importance of leaving the shoes outside the entrance of a house. The reason though appears to be of 'do follow' as guest and 'do as I said without questioning' I could understand the reason for the Brahmin insisting on leaving the shoes outside the entrance of his house while gowing through a magazine. The Brahmins in general and of Sri Sailam in particular generally use Bamboo mats as seats at the time of eating and some long mats for sleeping which they roll up during nights. Though appear to be simple it is totally free of dust and gives a hygenic look from all angles and I really appreciated how they are still following the 'procedures meant for cleanliness' though not insisting on the reason and just by following the established procedures taking them as principles to adopt by a Brahmin. I could understand that;
1. You are invited as a guest. You are not supposed to take a follower along with you as uninvited guest. The shoe you are wearing carry lot of dust, bacteria called 'C.diff ' bacterium which spreads very easily on surfaces of toilets, tops and surfaces wherever floor dust is found. The infection caused by this bacteria is difficult and there they readily pick it up rather than treating. One is not expected to take another guest (uninvited) along with you to the host.
2. This is not only the c.diff your carry but also totally disgusting dirt full of bird dropping, dog poop,leafy debris and other unwanted stuff which cause infections in the eyes, lungs and stomach. How are you right and justified taking along with you so much of dirt which adversely affect the host and the residents for having invited you for a lunch/dinner?
3. Also, how are you justified in not following the established principles of your host which he has adopted them as infallible? The mannerism lies in respecting the principles of your host. Is it not so?
4. A Brahim may be poor financially. He may not be having a vacuum cleaner and other sophisticated tools of cleaning but is a good follower of rules in keeping the house clean and hygenic with a small broom stick kept in the corner of the door of his house. Even in the worst days of his troubles he can clean himself and the surroundings by chanting the GAYATRI MANTRA.
5. The advantage of leaving your shoes and walking barefoot will activate the pressure points which the modern science has realized and is recommending more even by introducing slippers with sponge spikes inside of them.
