Cupboard open!!!!!!! Children find it fascinating!

Just open a cupboard and you will see the little one crawling vigorously to sit and peep into it. You have opened the door to a million treasures! I have always observed this with my son, and grandson. Now there is my second grandson of 10 months at home and it is fascinating to see the delight on the little mite’s face when we open a cupboard. He would just crawl on all fours as though his life depended on it, sit in a comfortable position, peer into the cupboard and if only he finds a sharp object, his day is made. He should keep everyone on his vigil after all! Have you observed this fascination for opened cupboards in your children and grandchildren?

my baby, 3+ months as of now, prefers the refrigerator more.... we plan to sneak into it sometime next summer

Yes my son as a baby used to crawl into the cupboard and hide there.

True. It is very funny and charming to see them crawl up to the cupboard with a spirit of inquiry.

And the more dangerous and sharp the object is the more captivating it is ! What their little minds see in that God knows. We keep saying that a red bulb burns brightly to to their unique eye.

I have found this a common feature and stilll my adult son recalls how fascinating he found this as a little boy.
