What Brings You Happiness?

I ponder a lot about life, love, happiness and freedom, somehow thinking...searching for daily happiness. I tend to think of my days with my children to wipe away the misery of a day, and restore purpose for life. What brings you happiness? Does it change from day to day, week to week?

It may sound strange but seeing others happy is what brings me happiness - most of all of I'm the reason for them being happy. I to bring people togeather and to help others.

@Cintronwriter I love inspirational and mood lifting sayings :) Helping others really gives me a sense of worth - I feel like I'm lucky to be so able, and in feel the need to give back in a way of appreciating what I have.

@DaintyD that's awesome. Don't stop helping others even if others tell you that's dumb to help others. Believe it or not, quite a few people have told me or asked me I should say, why do I spend so much time writing quotes when hardly anyone will read them? To them I respond, you'll never understand and if by reading my stuff you don't get inspired even a little, than I'm afraid you're already lost in the system I speak about.

Absolutely nothing strange about helping others and receiving some form of happiness as a result. Like you, it's gratifying seeing others happy and progressing as a result of my efforts, it might be why I write motivational sayings, to help inspire a world in need of hope.

Great. There is evidence to suggest smiling releases endorphins, in turn creating a euphoric environment.

Kindness, yes. That's just from random people or people you know that brings you happiness?

I have never really found that answer. My moments of happiness in life have always been fleeting. Never long term.

@JohnRoberts that's a morbid way of living, but I feel your honesty is indicative of the depressed sect of society.

Knowing that my parents & siblings are 24/7 safe and healthy. No, it doesn't change.

@Cintronwriter I have no idea. I can't speak for them. Happiness is subjective.

They're health is always a great indicator of happiness. How do you think those who lost or don't have family find happiness?

I am happy if my family is happy. It is simple happiness but it does matter the most in my life.

Awesome! Family success does bring us happiness. As a father myself and not having my children with me all the time, does dampen my mood from time to time.
