Yipee! another free pet vaccination

Philippines

At least that's what they said when I went there and inquire. I'm getting them shots early so that they won't get distracted with other dogs, or cats (specially ) One important thing about this tomorrow, that is never bath the dog once it got vaccinated at least for three days. Well, that's why I took them to bath now so that they can be ready for tomorrow. There was a schedule last year but for some reason I missed it. and it's on record. But It's probably because i didn't have money back then. They claim there's free consultation and medicine, it had to be true, it's election period they should be nicer to animals. I'm glad I was able to keep these records, hope they still honored it.

Vaccinations for pets are quite expensive here! I think it depends on vaccination against what illnesses/diseases. I only let my cat had his vaccination before he came to live with me. After that, since he has been kept indoors and has not met up with any other cats or animals, I haven't brought him for a vaccination. He dreads the vet visit.

It's just vaccination against rabies @ReiraLee and animal registration or something.

We don't get free vaccines here, but sometimes there are clinics, where you can get reduced price vaccines. That always makes things easier.

That's really not fair @snowy22315 your country's so great and powerful they should offer free vaccination, at least once a year

@Letranknight2015 yeah, the vaccination from the vet is a bit expensive... i shall try going to the public vet, although i have no idea how, since it is like 15 kilometers or more

Hello @lady1993 Vaccinations for rabies. You should pay a visit to them at least once in a year, for the dogs sake.

We also have free dog vaccination in our "barangay center" from time to time. Does it really have somethimg to do with the elections? or just a coincidence depending on availability from foreign donors?

Well, I didn't experience free consultation and medicine. Just the deforming i think and some three dollar payment @louievill I don't know. But if it isn't free, I'd just leave and tell mom. but I am going to trust them on this one, since my mom knows the brgy. chairman.

The barangay hall near my dorm offers free dog vaccination. So, yours is probably true.
