Is there an afterlife?

Good evening everyone,
So I was having a conversation at work today about the after life - it's w topic in witch I have great confusion and intreast.
I have not made up my mind, I never believe or disbelieve.
Have what do you believe, have you had any strange experiances?

Heaven is overrated. I was there thousands of years ago when I had some business to attend to. It's not that great. More than anything it's a break from the struggle, but it's not natural. Reincarnation is natural, and in the past people that could remember their previous lives and abilities were like immortals, despite being reborn many times over.
The human body has limits and breaks down after a long life of use. When accounts talked about certain people living hundreds or even thousands of years they were often talking about those that could remember who they were before and continue where they left off. Some beings did establish longer lives, but not for too long.
After many wars the ability was largely lost and the introduction of the afterlives messed up the cycle. The species is less wise as newer souls are added to the mix to make up for the ones pulled aside. Those of us who know wish for the destruction of the afterlife realms to restore the balance of how the world is supposed to be.
Heaven and the other realms were only supposed to be temporary stops, not permanent homes.

I believe there is an eternal life in heaven. Our body will die. but our soul will live forever I believe.
