A report from Armando Salguero on Tuesday said former Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, 29, visited the Miami Dolphins today but they were not able to sign an agreement to sign him to a contract to play football in 2016. Foster became a free agent when the Texans decided to allow him to test the free agent market at the beginning of the free agency period in March 2016. Foster who was an undrafted free agent out of the University of Tennessee in 2009 played seven seasons with the Texans franchise. Foster was placed on the injured reserved list on October 27, 2015 after he suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon two days earlier in a loss versus the Miami Dolphins. Foster has insisted that he will not sign a new contract until he has fully recovered from his Achilles heel injury which could happen in late May or early June so can he command a huge salary as a free agent. The Dolphins are in need of a veteran running back to work with Jay Ajayi who is his second year in the National Football League in 2016. ESPN.com reporter John Clayton reported the news three weeks ago the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos are also interested in signing the former Houston Texans running back. Foster has been doing light running since January 2016 but he does not want to sign a minimum wage contract if he is fully healthy to play football in 2016 with any team in the league that needs his services.

He's a star player playing it smart. I would think he would want to go with a contender (Denver, Seattle) but money usually wins out.

I hope he makes it (other than playing for Denver.) Good back and a total class act.
