I'm not talking about the line they did a few years ago that has real sugar in it. This has real sugar in it as well, but these are also supposed to be the original recipes of 1893. Pictured is a ginger cola. I had the original pepsi cola as well (but drank it and threw the bottle away) and it was good.
These were I thin 2 / $4 or 2 / $3 where I work and there was a coupon for them as well. I don't remember how much I spent but I think it was around the $3.00 mark.
I have not yet tried this one as I am not a big fan of ginger but I do intend to do so. Have these become available in your area / country yet?

It was a very interesting taste. It's limited edition I believe, and so they may not be introducing it everywhere.

I had not seen that around here Reality.
I love ginger though and am sure I would like it.

haha. You are the first one to comment on the cup. It actually has pepsi in it at the moment. These cans of pepsi were sort of off to the side, so it might take a minute to find in your local stores. If they have it yet, that is.
the "Keep calm and Drink Tea" cup was part of a tea set I bought after Christmas a few years ago. It was marked down so I got it, I really wished I had gotten a few sets.

I haven't bought soda at the market in a while. I occasionally drink soda when dining out only. I never knew they had ginger cola before!

It must have been something they havent' done in a very long time. Either that or they never did it and wanted to try it out so used a recipe that would have been used in the late 1800's.

I don't really care for them either but I had to try this one as it's supposed to be original recipe. It was okay, not something I would drink without ice though.

Ginger is so good for digestion and stomach upset. We dont' incorporate it enough in our meals here.

@ScribbledAdNauseum well, if ginger didn't have any benefits, i wouldn't bother buying it because of it's taste

I haven't seen them yet, but they did do a throwback mountain dew a while back.

Yes I remember that. I am not a fan of mountain dew myself. These cans were sort of out of the way, had they not been in my store I probably would not have found them.

It is literally very new to us. I think they just started this line this year, and I believe it's also limited edition. Ginger is good for us but I don't know what other ingredients might be in it that wouldn't make it taste very good. I need to look at the can and read it's ingredients to see if there is any kind of perservative in it, if not I need to drink it now or not at all.

I talked to the "pepsi guy" that stocks our store and I believe he said he wasnt' sure how limited it was. I don't know that he would know how far the reach would be, whether they'd stock it in the UK or not.

I'm not sure. I didn't look yesterday. I'll see if they have it here.I have been drinking cherry vanilla pepsi. It's good.
