Lilac Fantasy

May comes and with it brings what I call lilac fantasy as the apple blossoms and the blooming cherry trees have their petals caught by the wind whirled away lilacs lovely lilacs now bursting forth in colors of pink, purple and white fragrant and lovely quite a sight to behold everywhere you look you see lilacs all around I love this time it’s so wonderful when May arrives and lilacs turn the world into a lovely fantasy ordinary roads are so very colorful blending in with deep green firs and pines their fragrance felt upon the wind lilacs purple, pink and white

Lovely ode to the lilac! I love the Spring for the lilac and the forsythia beauty. We have both in our garden, but our lilac is not doing very well.

This is a beautiful writing and photo my friend. It cheers me with this snow here. I love the color and lilac and violets were also my Grannys (rip) favorite. The smell of them is lovely to me.
