Metal Detectors... / myLot

I wrote a post earlier about my husband He now has screws in his leg. That got me thinking about one time I was going through a metal detector and the machine kept buzzing. Anything that we "thought" was metal, I had to take off, rings, jewelry, my hearing aide, my shoes....and the buzzer still would go off. We fianlly figured it out!! Can you guess? It was my under-wire bra!!! Once we figured it out, they waved around "there" and that's what was making the detector go off!! How embarrassing!!

Yes same thing happens to my son with his Jodee.. It is sort of scary to go through those at the airport. What worries me most is he has to have a lot of MRIs and it pains him because of the magnets pulling the metal. Yikes

Oh, yes, I remember when my hubby would have MRIs as well. Then the doctor that performed the surgery retired (actually he came out of retirement and then was going to retire after my husband's surgery) so we got a different doctor. He tried scraping the bone, to get the screws out!!
