Eating outside is always expensive in my city and always full of people especailly during the weekends. Even you have made the reservation, you would still have to wait for awhile before you can get in to your seat. There are some place getting even worse because they need you finish your meal within one and half hour or within 2 hours so that they can have the table again to do more business with another customers. The waiters and waitresses in here are always without services because they are just so busy to do so many work with low salary and sometimes without any tips as well. Even they have will collect the tips but the tips always go to the restaurant but not for them. That's why not many people wants to get a job as a waiter or waitress in my city even there are lots of job vacancy. How about your place ?

Agree, but it seems like it is not just Chinese restaurant alone which will use chemicals. However, there are many restaurants we wouldn't go whether they are Chinese or not .

@wildlittlefan mostly depends on the food type. as macnhurian, chow mein and some other items require chemicals. so it's not all type foods from all hotels. just dependent on the type of dish.

It is really a busy city in your country. I do think it is the shopping district for tourists from different countries. As you have said, it is really expensive to eat in restaurants. In most cases, it is so crowded during weekends. I think it is also the same thing in my country. But I haven't experience of having limited time to eat. If it happens, it would be a bad rate of customer service.

Yes, I've been to your country once and I found out something very funny at the beginning when I went out to eat. I saw the MacDonald hamburger worth over $700 Philippine money at that time and same with KFC. I then figure out the currency was different and it wasn't that expensive when converted to my currency.
