Which world class singers do you like the most and why do you say that ?

I think singers in today's America are full of competition and it is not easy to get up to the top 10 in Bill Broad. I think I like Mariah Carey and Whitey Houston if I need to pick one among the best singers I like. They got great voice and sing it so well with their own style. These people are those singers that "when they sing, if you think you are singers, then please stand aside and let them sing." For classical , I like katherine Jenkins and Hayley Westernra since both of them git great voice and really knows how to sing. I still enjoy watching Olivia Newton John and Cliff Richard singing "suddenly " together when I was young and many more as well. That's why it is hard to pick one . How about you ? share with us ?
