So Much for Going for a Walk

The clouds grew heavy and poured down upon us. I was going to go outside for a short walk. I could bring an umbrella, but I am not one that likes to walk in the rain.
So, I guess I'll focus on the housework and start putting the granny squares together for my granddaughter's afghan. And, as I promised my hubby, make that lemon meringue pie....finally.
Maybe I'll get on that exercise bike for more than 5 minutes. Better a little than nothing.

Sorry you could not get out to walk my friend.
I will be walking shortly over to an appt..not one I want to go to.
It is sunny here but still quite cool.

Supposed to be colder this weekend here. Not looking forward to it. The temps seem to be going up during the week and I hope next weekend will be warmer.

I don't mind to walk in the rain, I just prefer not to have to take the dog out in the rain, I hate staying inside.

I can't stand getting cold and wet. Sometimes in the hot summer months the rain can be quite refreshing and that is the only time when I enjoy walking in the rain.

@CookieMonster46 I do have a golf umbrella, but it doesn't help when the wind is blowing the rain sideways.

@ElusiveButterfly I have one of those long yellow rain coats and I have a rain hat, big umbrella, so i keep dry.

I am with you on the walking. Rain or Snow, I am out, but I make it a point when it is good weather and I am not stacked with meetings, I will go out for a 20 minute walk at lunch.

I don't have the luxury of a scheduled lunch time in my work. I take it where I can grab a bite or two.
However, when I have to go shopping for a client I park further away from the store, unless it is raining. LOL.
