I was offered a writing assignment

The other day, I received an interesting e-mail from a company. Apparently, someone saw my other work and offered me an opportunity I really can't pass up. When I asked them which of my works caught their eye, they spoke of three different categories but then BAM... they mentioned what they wanted and I burst out laughing. At that point, I knew just why they offered the position to me and I was happy to hear my hard work and long hours had paid off. So, with this in mind.. more work lol I've decided to make Friday's my day of the week for myLot. This will give me a chance to catch up with folks here and wind down so to speak. Though this weekend will be quite busy for me, at least, it will give me plenty to write about when next we meet. The new assignment will be ongoing. With that in mind, I'll need to set aside some time tomorrow morning to pen everything into my planner. Plus, I picked up another ongoing assignment that will last me the year as the community has a new program getting launched. I asked to follow the project which I would write updates on its progress, take photos, interview people etc. Today, I started working at 4 a.m. and I'm just stopping now. Meaning, I should have stopped already but there are more e-mails to go through and notes to make. For me, work is a constant balancing act with my life. I like to keep a notepad handy because there are many times I get information and things start going off in my mind. It's easier to write it down and let it go... Then go on with what I am doing. The only time something gets my full attention is if it is breaking news. Well, that's my busy week in a nutshell. How was your week? - Wendy
