Agriculture in Philippines is a forgotten sector. Many sons/daughters of farmers chose to stopped the farming to go to Manila to be a corporate employee and their massive hectares of lands was sold to big real estate corporations. Now, Filipinos wants to modify this trend. They want to continue the farming. I am now investing in this platform. Husband and I are pretty happy that we are helping farmers and we are gaining some profits. We are now investors of 2 corporations. I hope this will be continuous. Let's all help the farmers. :)

Do you invest directly or indirectly? How do you go about it? Is it like lending them money to buy seeds, fertilizers and machinery or do you let them till your own farm lot that has been contracted by the corporations?

One company I am investing, is they own their own land. All I need to do is give them money and we will be 50% on profit. The other corporation signed a contract for farmers of 5 years, we will have a 70% - 30% sharing. :)

That's really good! My husband and I just talked about farming, and we think this is important in our country right now as well, as we all need food and farming is a good investment too. It's good that you are helping others and gaining some profits as well.
