I came across this style of poetry, but not much of an explanation of how to write it. Looking at the example, I saw that it was two stanzas of four lines each, with no particular syllable count to each line. The last lines of each of the stanzas had the same end rhyme.

Oh, Lord, how I wish to
Please You somehow today;
Alas, I'm not perfect
I'm likely to fall:
But You pick me up
And set me back on the road
Reminding me that on the cross
You paid it all.
