I have read about reading list for March in mylot this morning, and I found out there are many mylotters who like to read. This is really motivating. There are two books that I always want to complete, but I am still in the progress of reading for quite a long time. 1. Soul of Discipline (author: Kim John Payne) It's a parenting book. The author has stated three phases of child development, the first stage is from birth to around age 8 or 9. I have read the first part which is the introduction, and I am going to read the second part which is regarding the first phase, where both my children belong to. 2. Rhythms of Learning (author: Roberto Trostli) This is a book about Waldorf Education, it's recommended by my mentor to understand better about Steiner's lectures and how to teach the children. I have also read the first two parts about the introduction, and this month I am going to read about the First School Years, where my son currently belongs to. If possible, I will read about the Kindergarten as well. I might not have much time to read, but I'd like to motivate myself to at least spend some time every day to read a few pages, as these will be beneficial to me and my children as well. It might take me a bit longer to read, as I'd like to take down some notes as well. Also, it's always good to read together with the children. Have you made your reading list for April? What books would you like to read? picture: one of the books I want to read in this month

@Dawwriter That's really good! I always think it's a good to read books, though there are many articles or blogs online to read. Good books can always inspire us as well!

I actually don't read much nowadays, as there are just so many things to do, and so many good articles to read online, but I always like to find time to read a physical book.

Recently, I don't have the time to read as I spend my resting time on mylot or crafting. However, I have downloaded some books on my iPad for me to read soon ( and that is if i find the time to).

I think nowadays with the Internet, we have so much things to do online and don't have much time to read anymore. Good that we now have the ebooks, and we can easily read them anytime, anywhere we want. What crafts do you make?

I have lots of books waiting to be read but I just don't feel like doing much of anything. I have been reading one for awhile now called "She's come undone" byWally Lamb. It is pretty good so far. It is a first time for me reading anything by this author. I read over 50 books last year. I don't think I will even come close to that amount this year. I think I'm only on 5.

You have been reading a lot! I have not heard about the author, good that you like his book. I just found out the book you read was selected for Oprah's Book Club, so I assume it must be quite a good book.

@TiarasOceanView I guess it's also because I have a need to read those books, as they are helpful in my parenting and homeschooling as well.

@Lucky15 That's good! Since you can read a book so fast, perhaps you'll end up reading much more than just 3 books this month.

It sounds like you already have a good list. Do you like to listen to audio book? There are a few audio books that I'd like to listen to, but I haven't start with them yet. Thanks for sharing the site - Librivox. I didn't know about this site. I have found some children's audio books, which I'd like to listen to and tell to my children. Thanks!

Sometimes, I'd prefer making a reading list, so it helps me to focus on what I really want to read. I am easily distracted. Enjoy reading!

I don't really have a reading list. Every month I re-read a few of my favourite books and see which new ones I can find.

I can understand the feeling of being stared by the books. I have always been carrying one or two books with me (currently it's the two books I mentioned above), but I think they are always sad because I haven't complete them for such a long time. Do you like to take notes while reading as well?

@wiLLmaH I like to take down notes as well, that's why it took me a bit longer to read, but I think it'll be so much useful if I want to refer to it in future.

That's good! I wish we have a easy-to-access library nearby, so I can borrow some good books from there.
