Tonight's season 6 finale of the Walking Dead will be a 93-minute episode, and everyone has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Negan this season. Will tonight be the episode where he's finally introduced?
SPOILER - don't read any farther if you don't want to know what is going to happen tonight!
At 93 minutes in length, there's no doubt that something big is going to happen tonight. And, being the season finale, we can also expect the episode to end in a cliffhanger. But what exactly is going to happen tonight?
There's a lot of things to address in tonight's episode: what happened to Darryl (he got shot at the end of last week's episode)? What is going on with Maggie and her baby? Where did Carol disappear too, and can Morgan find her? What will happen to Glenn, Michonne, Darryl and Rosita now that they have been captured by Dwight? And who exactly is Dwight working for? What will happen to the Alexandrians (they are preparing for an invasion by the Saviors)? I imagine we'll find out the answers to many of those questions tonight.
But the big thing on everyone's mind is the introduction of Negan, and who he is going to kill at the hands of his infamous bat "Lucille."
Somehow, Negan is going to capture most of our heroes, and line them up for questioning. Everyone knows (based on the comics) that he is going to kill one or more of them to set an example and exert his authority. But who is it going to be? In the comics, it is Glenn. But don't be so sure that is who will be killed on the show, as we do know a big twist is coming.
We all know Negan is going to whack someone with Lucille tonight, but we don't know who. The final scene of the finale will show the lineup, and Negan's speech to the group. He's going to threaten to rip out Carl's remaining eye and feed it to Rick, but someone else is going to cry out to try and intervene. Who will it be?
As has occurred several times this season, we are going to see some parts of this scene through the first-person perspective, although we won't know who that person is. But I predict the finale will end with this first-person perspective, and through their eyes we'll see Negan's bat swinging at them. Then the music will cue, and the scene will fade to black, and we'll be left hanging for several months until the season 7 premier airs.
This is my prediction for tonight. How do you think tonight's episode is going to play out? Who do you think is going to get killed at the hands of Negan's bat?

Even though you put a 'spoiler alert' in this post, I couldn't help myself reading it.
I'm a big fan of the show, but must admit that I haven't read the comics version.
I think it's exactly how you described it -- someone gets killed, and we don't know who it is, and we are left hanging for several months until season 7.
I have a feeling that Carol would be "helping" the group again like she did in Terminus.

Obviously, we wouldn't have a show if our heroes are defeated, so we know ultimately that Rick and his group will prevail. Sadly, though, we are going to lose one or more of our beloved heroes at the hands of Negan's bat. Would you care to guess who it is going to be?

Hopefully not the core characters. Just the ones we fans (or at least I) could live without.
Father Gabriel? Morgan? Eugene (even though his bullet-making idea sounds awesome!).

@bounce58 Unfortunately, I think it's going to be one of the core characters that we love, although I hope I'm wrong.

@moffittjc I'm deliberately not reading this post as I'd like to watch this show one day. So sorry I can't comment or answer anything about it. But I will ask you, is it a really good show or over-hyped?
I love zombie movies / shows so I'm sure I will love it.

I gave up watching after season 8. The are currently in season 9. I would encourage you to watch the show if you can. I just had to take a break, it was becoming too much a part of my life! Maybe someday I'll go back and watch season 9.

@VivaLaDani13 It’s an awesome show! I refused to fall for all the hype when it first came out, and then one day during season 4 I was flipping channels and came across an episode. I was instantly hooked, and went back and binge-watched the first three seasons.

@moffittjc That is fair enough. I will be sure to give it all a go. Thank you for the recommendation.
