Using Pintrest As A Wishlist

My wife and I have always struggled what to get each other for birthdays and holidays. 2 Years ago, my wife came up with the idea of using Pintrest (I never heard of it before that).
After a little setup and we made private boards, which allow only us to see it, we now use it as gift ideas. As we see something that we like, we post it to our private board. We also have an us private board for ideas that we both would like.
Pintrest has been very useful to us, because now I do not need to ask her what she wants. I always get her something that is not on the Pintrerest, but these lists really help us because we seem to forgot what we would want when it comes around the time.
Do you use Pinterest and have you ever used it for somethng like this?

I did use Pinterest before but had to get off of there as I was enthralled with looking at boards non stop lolz
Way too interesting for me.
Good you are using it in this way though, what a perfect idea.
I usually use Amazon wish list.

That is a great idea to do. I just showed my boyfriend. So, he could read your discussion. As I would like to d this.

Wow, Thats a good thing. So that we can avoid on thinking on the Gifts to be given.
i haven't tried this. Its the first time I am hearing about it.

Yeah I thought I would share because we have been using it now for 2 years and it has been a huge help for me. We use to put something an email and then send it to each other, but then it was only 1 idea and then when it came around to birthdays I had to find all the emails she sent me in the last year to get the list. This is much better now.
