Window AC or Split AC

There are many types of air conditioner and we know the importance of air conditioner in our life.Now the big question is which type of ac would you prefer in your room .
The summer is on and people are still deciding which ac to go for.is it window or split

I am not sure what you mean by split AC. I have Central AC here and I would never want to be without it!

Split unties are the better way to go as they are much quieter, looks much neater, however they require more service than a window unit. But still I would choose the split unit.

We just received several portable A/C units on our last truck... we've been discussing it for a few years and have decided to get one of them for this summer instead of the window unit we usually use. Weirdly enough our apartment is the only one in the complex that doesn't have an A/C that the landlord put in... which is kind of awesome because it means we aren't stuck with whatever cheap unit he picked out.
