How much money do you need to stop working?

hello guys, we all have to work and also work hard daily. many of us like thier job but also many of us dont like. some of us wanna quit but we have to work so we cant,i sometimes think that if i have enough money ,i would quit job and enjoy my life.. but how much money we need to live free and without job ? what is your wish?

It is really hard to say. Right now perhaps I think 10 million is enough for me to quit my job. But when I have 10 million, perhaps I will think I need a billion so that I can give up work. So I really don't know how much will be good enough. As we often pursue our dreams and some dreams do cost a lot of money

I'm still in college now and I'm really excited to land a job. I guess if I'll really enjoy my job and find fulfillment in it even though I have many savings I won't quite my job. :)

about working especially in japan, working continuesly and serious is the most important thing. i wish you could be succesfull in your job.

I want to retire by the age of 45... I've started to plan my life keeping that in mind and i know that i cannot make that much money if i am in a job and so i have quit my job and am trying my hand at entrepreneurship... hope it all fits!

It all depends on your lifestyle. For me I will need to be comfortable paying my bills and have a comfy life. Not luxury, just comfy and don't worry about money all.
