Psoriasis is a long lasting autoimmune disease characterized by patches of abnormal skin. It occurs due to mutation and it has affected over a million people around the world at present. It has no cure! the victims suffer criticism and get neglected by the people around. People what do you think, does the victims need our sympathy upon their situation or our support to fight this disease?

They need both. I have a friend afflicted with this horrible disease. She is Native American and it is common with her people. She really hurts. The itching is unbearable. It is all over her body and in various stages of breaking out and healing. She also has arthritis related to it. She has painful shots and infusions to help the situation. Please be a friend and a comfort to anyone who has it. They would give anything for it to go away.

I understand. My sister is a doctor and she has faced some situations where her patients are in the worst condition or else they are improving. She tells me about their struggle and it hurts so much to just hear about them. All we need to do is aware the people about this disease and also that it is not communicable and to stop them from ignoring or treating the victims like animal.

@Anniemaz It is an autoimmune disease. The body is attacking itself because the immune system is whacked out. You can't catch it from them.

That's very sad. I am very lucky that I am not plagued with this. I think my dad has psoriasis however, as he has very similar rashes to your picture on occasion. Very sad.

I have a son with psoriasis since he was 3 years of age, and let me tell you, think something like that need to be helped. I go naturally with cures, My son, uses enzyme to help his stomach and natural cream for now, it can finally go into remetion for awhile. .Never give up . A good diet is very important.
