That’s an expression that is often used on Friday, mainly because Friday is the end of the work week for most people. The weekend is coming up and a person who has worked all week is ready for some relaxation. I look forward to the weekend also, even though I’m retired from working. I usually have something planned for the weekend, but sometimes I just enjoy being home with my family and, in the summer, we have cook-outs and sometimes play card games or board games in the evenings. What do you like to do on the weekend?
