House on the Hill

This is another creation by my brother. He painted this based on a description I made of a place located at a hill by the mountains. The main colors he used are green and brown with its related hues. The main theme on this painting is the house and its mainly a vertical composition. He used many line forms to give shape to this house in the natural landscape.
There is the house, two big trees and some small ones behind in the distance, the hill, the bushes and the cut off edge of a dry river, as elements. Based on this painting, what could you add to this house to make it prettier?

I would probably add a balcony so they get a better view pf the land scape

@quantum2020 another thing is the house needs railings, some body might get drunk or sleepy and fall off the mound

That sounds like a good idea! Maybe by yours and other opinions, this house might get transformed into a more attractive house.

Honestly, I would not add a single thing. I love the lines of this house and the simplicity and sturdiness of it. I also love the solar panels and the colors in this painting.

Thank you! My brother is going to like you appreciation of this painting. I had not noticed the solar panels. To me, they were just Windows on the roof. MAybe my brother is inclined to energy saving technology.

I do like the style of his painting.I would not make it prettier.I liked it.I like the back ground around the house.
Not sure what type of house you have there.I noticed that there isn't any chimney
The panels on the are they solar panel ?or window in the attic.The lines on the house need some work.I am sure the more he does he will get better.I do like his style.Good luck

A chimney is a good addition for this house. It is a house set on a temperate climate, but where one might also feel the cold of Winter.

Yeah, it´s a good painting! It can be practical for some people. There is no road that reaches the house, just walking trials.
