So far, we've been treated to a Linda Ronstadt Top 10 (by
@JohnRoberts, who started this, and an Elton John Top 10 by @FourWalls, who is now in the midst of a Top 20 from Merle Haggard.) I was listening to Washington D.C. hardcore/reggae band Bad Brains when I decided to join the fun, so that is who I went with.
"I Against I" is the title track from the band's 1986 album, their 3rd.
While the classic lineup of vocalist H.R., guitarist Dr. Know, bassist Darryl Jennifer, and drummer Earl Hudson was still together, H.R. performed his vocals from jail, where he was doing time for selling pot.
"I Against I" clocks in at 3:50, which is lengthy for these guys. It's a punk tune with a touch of metal influence, loud and aggressive, yet not nearly as fast as, say, their classic song "Banned in D.C."

There's your cure for Barry Manilow!
(What brought that up: for some reason I was thinking about my office when I was stationed in Honolulu, and how awful the radio station was, playing Lionel Ritchie and Barry Manilow, and how I so desperately wanted to blast London Calling in the office one day.)

Yeah they are. I want to see them, but every chance I've had they've sold out or something comes up.
