Did Neanderthal Man live in trees or caves?

Those hairy dudes from long long ago ... They didn't just live in caves. There were far too many trees and far too few caves.
It is odd that we associate ancient Cromagnum and Neaderthal people with caves.
If I were a cave man I would not want to share a cave with a bear!

I am sure they did Anthony.
I am also thinking they must have lived anywhere that was good for them period.
It must have been quite the adventure.

@TiarasOceanView This is likely just a trend of the times. Many think the apocalypse is coming and they are wanting cave realestate in case the bad men come.

I think many of our great cave man ancestors were nomadic tribesmen.

@lookatdesktop I wonder if they made little "tents" out of branches and such.

@TheHorse I would imagine, if the weather was just right they slept on the ground under the stars. Yep. Makes more sense to me.

Huts were common and I think they are kind of cool. I like huts. I remember seeing the one on the t.v. show, Gilligan's Island. Indians and their TeePees are cool looking I think.
I drove by an indian preservation and saw a lot of TeePees up and didn't have a camera at that time so I didn't get a pic of them to share.

They lived in trees, caves and might have built huts.
