Josh Alper reported the news on Monday the Tennessee Titans have claimed off of the waiver wire former Green Bay Packers linebacker Nate Palmer.
Palmer who was a sixth round draft choice in the 2013 National Football League Draft out of Illinois State University played two seasons with the Packers from 2013-2015.
Palmer did not play in any football games for the Packers during the 2014 football season due to a tear in his MCL during the final preseason game which placed him on the injured reserved list.
Palmer made ten starts for the Packers during the 2015 football season before he lost his starting linebacker job to rookie Jake Ryan.
Palmer was released by the team on April 8. Palmer will be facing the challenge of making the Titans football team during the training camp sessions later this year.
