Oh the Joys of Spring!

Today the weather made it quite nice to be outside. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze, although there was a slight chill still in the air. The warmth of the sun felt so good.
The trees are budding and the perennials are making an appearance. And, my allergies are starting to wear me down.
Itchy eyes, scratchy throat, and sneezing repeatedly. I don't sneeze quietly, so I often startle people when I do. Yup, I sneeze quite loudly.
So when you see me stop, cross my legs and put my face in the crook of my elbow, take cover. Now where are my tissues? I thought the antihistamine would work better than this.
Oh the joys of spring!

My brother is the opposite. He sneezes and sounds like a mouse.

If I stay on the meds and use common sense I will be okay.

Lilacs kill me. I remember loving the heavenly fragrance that they have. Found out later in life that they triggered my allergies and gave me a headache from hell.

@ElusiveButterfly a coworker takes a spoonful of local honey, must be local, each day. it helps her enough I can tell when she forgot to take it. Figure I aught to try that

I find things make me sneeze more that I'm older. They didn't used to bother me. My son sneezes in sunlight. LOL

I often sneeze so much that I am constantly crossing my legs so I don't have other worries. LOL. I remember my grandmother doing this and I laughed. She warned me that I would be the same way one day. Gramma was a wise woman. LOL.

Your sneeze sounds a lot like mine.
I was outside today getting some of the weeds out of the flower beds.

I have to do that soon as it warms up a little more. I have thought about wearing a mask.

Once the leaves are completely out on the trees I get a break. Then there is growing season, and so on. Seasonal allergies are terrible.
