I dreamed of my Mom

For 2 days now, I've been dreaming about my mom. She died of breast cancer almost six years ago. The first dream I got was colored and I feel like I don't wanna wake up. And the whole scene is still clear on my mind. I wrote the whole story on notepad so in case I'll be needing it in the future. The scenario is, we're trap in the middle of gunfight and the jeepney (common public transport in philippines) we're riding stucked. However, good thing cops came and sum of the gang men were arrested. Then we went home. The house is the same as the house we used to live in. I can remember a lot of memories while I was walking inside, so nostalgic. A lot of reminiscing happened, but to end the story, she kissed me good bye. And that kissed, I felt it. I have that thought that I don't want to let her go. But of course she have to. Then after awhile I woke up. Then last night, I dreamed about her again. But it's kinda creepy and weird. We're in the middle of somewhere, I don't know what it is, but she asked me to eat a human legs and feet for survival. She brought me pair of legs and feet for me to wash so she could cook. It was really disgusting. I can't do it even on my dreams. I'm hesitant to wash it but I have to. I can still remember cutting the feet from the legs. My stomach turns everytime I think of that. So vivid. I ended up trying to eat it, while crying. And she's telling me about survival but I don't understand. I don't know how my dream ended. I just woke up and felt tired. I'm not a dreamer. Most of the time, when I dream, it means something. But right now, for two days, it seems like she's trying to tell me something. Or my dream is telling me something. How I hope its not negative.

I don't give meaning to my dreams . I am afraid it might give me a not good meaning so i rather not think about it . Maybe she 's just reminding you to at least have a mass or prayer said for her .

I keep on praying for her soul. Maybe because our birthday is near. That's why. We're both April babies.

i see dream as an effect of too much thinking. i dont give meaning to it cause it only scares me. i dont dream that often too but i get it usually when im stressed out.

Why do dreams scare you? I mean, you're scared to know what's the meaning of your dream?

@zaga_cleuth when i think about it too much, i usually translate it to things that doesnt do me any good. i once had a dream that my sister was kidnapped and killed. i couldnt stop calling her for days. then there's this snake dream that kept me awake the whole night.

@MGjhaud they say when you dream of snake, it means money is coming. Or sort of fortune.

I hope that you find out the reason soon.

Thanks. Because until today the pictures are vivid and I can still see everything when I'm alone. It's kinda bothering.

Might I suggest Gestalt psychology and dream walking. His whole theory is to dissect your dreams. I can't find the link at the moment but I usually "dream walk" when my dreams are complex.

Dream walk? Is it like walking while dreaming and you're going to places and still asleep?
