Adding Photos to Mylot

Since I got my new camera, it came with software for the computer, I can no longer access my photos to put here on myLot.
When I click "add image", I get a list of files.No thumbnails.
When I try to add an unknown image (because I have no idea what they are without the thumbnail) Nothing happens.
EDIT: Well, what do you know, my photo showed up, lol.
Any ideas anyone?

There should be an icon at the top right of the screen you see to let your choose between file names or icons and icon size...

There is, but it doesn't change them to thumbnails. Only dates in a different format. ???

@JolietJake It must have something to do with the new software I guess. I am afraid if I delete the software, my pics will go with it.

I think you can solve this by renaming the picture you wanted to embed so you can specifically choose it. You can also put it in a special folder where there are no other files.
