Angry spouse,
You're in trouble.
Better respond
On the double.
But what did you do,
To create such grief.
You beg an answer.
You beseech.
All you receive
Is the silent treatment.
No words expressed
From her lips.
You sweat.
You worry.
You beg for a response.
You ask for the faintest tip.
The night is like a ghost.
There is a chill in the air.
What did you do wrong?
You wonder in despair.
When will your wife tell you?
When will she confront your guilt?
All you can do is wait and wonder
When your wife ends up spilling the milk.
