Today we took the kids to the park for a little while and then after that we relaxed. Once it got close to 3pm we got in the van and drove down to where the circus was. My mom bought tickets months ago for us to bring the kids to circus knowing that they love going to the circus. This was the first time taking our youngest since I was pregnant with him. Our older two this was there 3 time going. We got a gift for our youngest and our two questioned it once and we told him they already had gifts from the first time they went this time it's there little brother's turn. So we got him a baby and mommy elephant together. Our littlest loves elephants so it made the prefect gift for him.
Today was the last day for the elephants they are retired.

Thanks. We Nora lily go to the much smaller that comes around September October. They only have dogs, and horses but it's less crowed.

@ShyBear88 Smaller circuses are usually less crowded. We had Ringling Bros. here a few years ago. It was fun watching the train come into town. We got a close up look at the circus train as they were allowing people to get close to it. Then the circus was fantastic! We also went to one a couple years before that one that was much smaller, and though it drew large crowds, the circus itself was much smaller. That one did have some excitement to it, an elephant stampede. No one was hurt which was a miracle as it destroyed the net used by the trapeze artists and one did fall, but luckily not hurt.

@just4him we like the big apple circus it's small lots of animals like cats, dogs, horses and a few acts it's about a hour which is prefect for kids.

Glad they had a fun day playing at the park and going to the circus. I was outside alot this weekend too the weather was perfect. I'm glad spring finally decided to arrive.

Sounds like a great family day. I know my kids really enjoyed seeing a circus last year.
