Rape jokes are never funny

Well, there is this candidate for president that most people are rooting for since he is totally against crime and quite a terror from where he is from. Even i was thinking of voting for him, but then this comes along.. a video of him joking about how the kidnappers/rapists should have made the Mayor "go first" after seeing the dead body of the hostage that was raped then killed - decades ago. it was so awful, i didn't really know what to feel... at first i felt angry, since the audience just laughed when he said that. but then i also felt disappointed that the candidate never thinks before he speaks.. here is a man that may be president, but because of that mouth, he may even start a war with other countries.

I don´t know who you are talking about. But the way he talks is disgusting.

well, since he will be a president now, he did promise to control his mouth...

Horrible! He must be punished for stating such a thing publicly.

i don't think he will be punished now, since he is the president as of this moment

Working outside our country means voting early So i did vote. I voted for someone intelligent and whom I think we all can be proud of. Although I have initially planned on voting him because just like any other I wanted a change and want the crime rates to slowly diminish. But i still think there is another candidate worthy of my vote. Anyhow, this candidate you are referring to was known to make jokes so most people would not take his jokes seriously. But then again he should start to take things seriously especially if he won.

I hate such jokes too. I don't get why anyone would want to say them and why would anyone laugh at them. Disgusting.

sadly, some people have a hard time controlling what they say

When I read this I 'unsurprisingly' assumed you were writing about Donald Trump and then I realised you were in the Philippines. This kind of thing isn't funny anywhere in the world.

Uhm ...what??? Is that even allowed for him to say? He should be out of the race right away for a comment like that!! Shame on him

well, he did explain that he only said it out of anger... and his supporters still backed him up

Indeed his response was offensive even as a joke. Who will you vote? If you don't mind me asking.
