Okay maybe not exactly MY Tudor Queen, and not exactly YOURS anymore either....
I was scrolling through my facebook newsfeed this morning when I came across a birth announcement that had been posted on one of my favorite facebook groups.
I made a mental note to check it out tonight and so found it again and here I am to post the link for all of you.
It sounds very beautiful, but almost.. I don't know, I guess the wording style fits for the time but it almost seems a bit TOO modern for the time as well.
I feel I'm probably wrong on this, and that the wording is accurate, but who knows? The link I give also provides an image of the actual document itself, but it's not very legible, and taking into consideration spelling was very different then (Queene vs Queen for instance) well.. Here's the link
On a side note, and to do with the second Queen Elizabeth, I saw a book on here life I might purchase. I don't think I've yet written about it here. It's titled something along the lines of "Young Elizabeth, the making of a queen..."
She'll be 90 soon won't she?
Almighty God high thanks, glory, laud and praise, and to pray for the good health, prosperity, and continual preservation of the said Princess accordingly.

It took a lot of pain for that Tutdoe Elizabeth to become the greatest English Queen

In more ways than one. Not only the tragic circumstances and hurdles she went through but the clothes they wore in that day! Truly painstaking!

@enlightenedpsych2 Yes but the book I mentioned was about Elizabeth II, so there's no telling truly.

Back in Tudor Times, they wrote and spoke a lot like the Bible was written. I think it's very poetic and beautiful the way things were written, very romantic even.

If I didn't have somewhat of a case of social anxiety? I would LOVE to make a job of re-enactments, especially for shakespearean plays or Tudor lifestyles!
Not just the royal court but everyone.
