Former Milwaukee Brewers right handed pitcher Kyle Lohse has been offered a contract by the Baltimore Orioles according to a report submitted by Steve Adams and Jeff Todd of MLB Trade Rumors. Lohse became a free agent at the end of the 2015 baseball season when his three year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers expired. Lohse had a pitching record of five wins and 13 losses pitching for the Brewers during the 2015 baseball season with an earned run average of 5,85 which was not going to have baseball team knocking down his door to pitch for them in 2016. The Cincinnati Reds are also interested in having Lohse join their team but it is not clear if he was offered a contract. Lohse would join a baseball team for "the right fit." If Lohse does sign a baseball contract with any team that is interested in hiring him, Lohse will likely be pitching for their minor league team since he has not pitched in the Major Leagues this year. Lohse would be a welcome addition to any team that is able to sign him since he can work both as a starter or relief pitcher in 2016.

Lohse has been around forever it seems. 5-13 wasn't a recommendation for a new contract. He has to sign on and show he's got something left.

I never wanted Kyle Lohse to leave the Cardinals.
