It's almost 4am here, and I SHOULD be sleeping...but am not;). This is going to sound horribly naive, but I didn't know that we could delete notifications-haha. I thought they just pop up and that is that;).

Phew that's a lot of notifications! Lol. I delete mine because when it gets to be a lot of them it drives me crazy.
Hope you have a great day. =)

I have found it easier to delete them as i go. Then i know that i have gotten back to everyone that commented back to me and i do not miss someone. At least then it will keep it cleaned out. I do go through and delete all the ones that say this person liked this post or this person mentioned you in a comment. All that leaves is the people that follow you and the people that have commented back to you. It cuts it down by like half when you do that.

i also dont want to miss a comment and i used to spend so much time going through all them when my notification page got refreshed (due to my bad internet connection)
i managed to opt out from those unnecessary alerts a long time ago but i still have plenty in a span of few hours.

That's a lot of notifications! I'd be crazy if I see so many notifications lying there.
I always try to work on my notification list, that's the first thing I do when I visit mylot. I always go through them one by one, and delete it once I finished replying and visiting a new discussion from the commenter. I always wish I can clear all the notifications for at least awhile. It'd be nice if I have done so.

Wow I cannot imagine trying to go through all those I think I would have to just delete it all and start from there on responding to any new ones I received after the delete. I keep all my notifications ONLY until I have responded back/ read them. I usually only have about 30 notifications or so at a time. Its not hard to keep up with that amount.

That's one thing I learned a couple of months ago ..to delete one at time after I checked them..

Even though they drop off after a week, I have gotten into the habit of deleting the clutter.
