I'm a light sleeper and how do I know that because well I'm easy to wake, from the a very young age certain sounds have been able to wake me from my sleep and others I've learned to tone out and sleep through. I get easily with any alarm, when my babies cry, and the fact that I get up a lot in the middle of the night. My husband he is a heavy sleeper he won't wake for anything. You have to like slap or punch him wake him up. He won't hear our kids in the middle of the night which is why I get up because everything can go down hill if I wait for him to wake so I don't wake him unless one of the kids is bleeding, diving or throwing up. The throw up one is more likely to hiappen them the others and yes I've had to wake him for that reason and run to get into a shower from being vomited on.
What about yourself?

I'm a light sleep, I become a light sleep over the years where when I was in my teens, nothing would wake me.

My husband and I are the same as you and your husband. I always wake up to my alarm and my children-he doesn't hear anything while sleeping. Our son sleeps in our room and when he cries in the middle of the night my husband sleeps through it-I have no idea how!

Something must be making you uncomfortable at night, the reason why you always get light sleep. Find out.
