I am now breaking my plan; I will cut it short.
Yes, I already changed my mind this morning when I saw my face in the mirror. My late mother told me that when my palm can cover my face, I am thin. That is how I measure if I have lost weight. Well, actually, I am gaining weight now, but according to my mother (+) and which I agree, my long hair gets all the nutrients I get from the food I eat, and nourishing the hair strands leaving my body frail.
After I drove my son and sister to the office for the booster dose of rabies vaccination of the 2 puppies, I and my sister planned to have our hair cut; but the hairdresser had earlier plans for a wedding, so he set the appointment tomorrow after lunch.
As @SIMPLYD said, I will show you- me and my newly cut hair, a style I had 5 years ago- the short-boyish type.

I always wear my hair short too. Not for the same reasons that you will, I have naturally curly hair and it gets pretty wild if I don't keep it short.

i think having a curly hair is really nicer if you keep it short, or when long, it is better to keep it tied so the strands will not go wild and cover your face,

@SIMPLYD my hair grows so fast, my friend, that is why i will let my hair be cut so short, like the one when i saw my BFF; yes, that very short hair style. i hope and i know i will look better with it. (humility aside now).

yes it was not a short boyish cut. even now, my hair cut is not boyish style. the hairdresser made the cut apt to my face and i find it good. the idea of having long hair with me getting thin is my own mother's idea, and this should not be taken as truth.

i had my hair short since my son was in school. i started to grow my hair long again when he finally graduated from college. now, i will cut it short because of this very hot climate we have now.

@hereandthere if you want to grow your hair long, may i suggest a shampoo advised by a colleague. this shampoo helped my short hair get longer in just a few to several months. the picture in this discussion is my newly-cut hair last year. look at the discussions of my confinement in the hospital, or better yet, my avatar. my hair is below my shoulder. i use Palmolive strong and long, the green one,

we belong my friend, in just finger-combing my short hair, but when it is long, i like combing it with wide-toothed comb or brushing it with my head bent down. having long hair makes us look more feminine, but we can also be feminine with shorter hair as well, right?

this is the first time in 5 years that i will let my hair cut short again. i had my hair length reaching my elbows and below shoulders now. the picture i attached here was my hair length last year, when i let my hair be cut from elbow length to this bob.

thanks for the compliments, my friend. the advantage of having short hair for me, is i do not even need to brush or comb it upon waking up. with just the stroke of my fingers, i can easily fix it.that is what i do when i go on duty; i just stroke it.

it is not the boyish look, my friend. the hairdresser styled my hair according to the shape of my face. it may sound odd, but i like the cut.
