Some people suffer from diabetes, which causes blood sugar to arise. In other words, glucose accumulates in the blood. It should be absorbed by the cell for energy. If you suffer from it, you become weak as you lack energy. You lack energy because the energy producing islet in the pancreas cannot produce any of it. So, take care of pancreas by not making it work harder. If you drink iced water, this pancreas work harder to warm it before it turns the food into insulin. My advice is don't drink ice too often. You will be a lot safer if you drink warm water.

Diabetes has secondary complication and it affects the people if not treated well. It can be acquired or hereditary. We need to check how to modify our lifestyles if inflicted such illness.

Adding insulin from outside will help restore the condition but you have to take it regularly.

You are right. Lack of insulin causes it.
