trivial vs important?

I don't know that you guys would agree with me or not but I think that people on mylot respond much more to the trivial things rather than something which is really deep and philosophical.
I also deal with discussions in similar way but the instinct and my observation tend me to write this discussion.
Do you people agree?

From my own viewpoint, I think people respond to trivial stuff more because they don't have to think too hard about their response.

@imravi Whether they should or shouldn't isn't my call...I've posted discussions before about things I thought important, and it seems most users really don't want to get involved in discussions about them.

I have discovered that people in general don“t care much about reading or responding to long posts. But after some time, you find some few friends that are interested in what you way. And we can talk with them for a long time even if they are few.
