Are you fond of writing? Do you always write with or without an inspiration? I have the love of writing, right after I read something. When I got the chance to wake up very early while others are still sleeping, I will write positive affirmations about myself. I think writing is very powerful. It is because whenever I write thoughts of gratitude and what I want to happen for a particular day, my day definitely turns out to be wonderful.

I enjoy writing, but I usually don't do it for fun or for the joy of it. I write for money, and I find it interesting.

That is another benefit of writing. We can gain money from it. Just like what we are doing now in mylot and other sites that pay us through our write-ups.

@hereandthere It is exciting learning new things. I think being a writer and researcher go hand in hand.

I have three midori traveler's notebook, I think three Filofax pocket size planners, One a5 size filofax planner, one personal size filofax planner, one personal size kikki.k planner, one happy planner, and the rest are non-branded planners given to me by different companies! With those enumeration of how many paper planners i own, can you guess if i'm fond of writing or not?

@toniganzon When did you start this habit of writing? As for me, I started it when I was in college. I was influenced by my classmate that time.

I prefer to read when I am suffering on those moods. Reading lifts my spirit and clear my mind. It is also relaxing.

Having a journal is good. I also tell my kids in the school that even there is no teacher that will require them to write a journal, they should still practice the habit of journal writing. That way, their vocabulary and writing will be enhanced. How long have you been doing that?

my bad habit is writing but not finishing hahaha!
i remember a practice that's called morning pages, which is freewriting early in the morning. then, later, the gratitude journal became popular.
i think what you're doing is great and worth trying out.

I cannot write everyday. I only do it when no one is awake so I won't be disturbed. Yes, starting the morning writing thanks first of all and visualizing how will you spend the day is really great!

I think it's really good to keep the habit of writing, especially everyday. I like to write, I used to write a lot on papers or notebooks, and now online. It always makes me understanding myself better when I am writing, it's like self-talking, I think it's like a way to meditate as well.
I am trying to keep the habit of writing my gratitude journal daily. I did that when I was in Bubblews, it helped me so much.

I also did that before and I admit that my life becomes happier and more meaningful when I started to be thankful in everything. The moment I open my eyes, I already said "thanks" for giving me eyes to see. When I move my body, again I say thanks that I can move it. Indeed, I am grateful each day.

Writing is an activity that many students hate to do. It is such a skill I think so it will go step by step. I have been writing since I was in high school and I can say my write ups are not that good still. I still receive many corrections from my friends who read my write ups.

I used to have the habit of writing in paper before, but since I bought a computer, I write with the keyboard instead. I still write my ideas on paper from time to time.

That is good. Have you been earning by writing articles online? What motivates you to keep on writing?

@quantum2020 Yes, that is what I found out too. If you want to have a very good output in writing, you have to do some research too.

@annierose My motivation is the great array of ideas and experiences that one can put on writing; furthermore, it´s a continuous path to learning other subjects.

It really helps a lot especially if you cannot say words personally. That is my weakness. It is tough for me to articulate my thoughts when speaking to someone unlike in writing.

Yes.
And, while reading your post, it made me remember my English Teacher in high school. He said, whatever thought comes into your mind, be it rhymes or any story, write it. If you will not, you might have missed putting into memory a very beautiful inspiration.

With my age right now, plus with many things to be done daily, I don't think I have time to write. I just put them in my mind

Yes, I understand. But I think if I really want to be a writer, I should find a way where I can practice writing no matter how busy my day is everyday.

@annierose The best tip I can tell you is subscribe to Writer magazines. The other is to just write, as much and as often as you can.

Writing is a painful process for some. It is also difficult for me when I was still a student. I admire those writers who have talents in writing and I hope I can be like that someday.

you're right
