A large number of birds die in summer season due to scarcity of water. Sprawling cities reduced forests, lakes and water thus causing them an existential threat.
We all can help in conservation. We all have some bowls or old utensils which we can feel with water and keep on the terrace or at some elevated point, where birds can come get their thirst satisfied.
This can be a small step toward birds and humanity.

I think something like that people will do this year in my country , they will put utensils and half bottles (cut bottles) filled with water and seeds in the balcony .

Birds get really thirsty in the scorch of the summer sun in India. It would be beneficial if they were able to take a drink and also bathe once in a while in the water kept by everyone near their homes.

The building has maintenance once a weekly and they water so there is usually some water available even in summer.
