The Earth is Shifting

Has anyone else ever really thought about this? According to Inuit (Canadian natives) elders, the night sky is not the same as it used to be. They say that is what is causing climate change. Before you brush it off, the European Space Agency claims that earth's magnetic field is shifting. In Florida, there is a plane runway that had to be moved so the equipment would point to "true" north, which it did in the past. Sensitive people say things are "not right" somehow and birds and sea animals sometimes seem confused about where they are. If you're an outdoors person, you may have noticed tiny differences... or not. Do you think the earth has really shifted?

The relative positions of the stars is constantly changing due to precession. This is such a slow process that we usually assume the positions to be fixed, but over, several thousand years the change would be significant.

That's true, but according to the Inuits and many other reports, the shift is much faster than that.

@peavey I am reluctant to accept that the Inuit have noticed a change that has not been detected by the major observatories.

I do feel it is shifting. There are too many things that points to it. Now with all that is going on it may really shift.

I had forgotten about this post, but I can't help but wonder. There still seems to be a strange feeling; maybe more so now.

@peavey Let's see what happens after hurricane Irma gets done. Plus there was the earthquake in Mexico. Things might really change now.

@velvet53 They could, but I doubt we would ever hear about it, at least in the mainstream "news."

I think the question should be how can it not have shifted?

Good point, but I think this is an unexpected shift or at least an unexpected perception. Usually, people don't notice things like this.

@Marcyaz I'm not sure about that, but there have definitely been some changes on the earth that one would think would affect it.

@peavey With all the population of the Earth and more to come how could the weight not be affecting the Earth.

I am not surprised as global warming does have many negative effects on our planet.

There are a lot of questions about global warming, so I don't know if we can blame it on that or not, but who knows? The earth cycles in many ways over time.

Some earthquakes and volcanoes apparently have enough power to affect the tilt of the earth.

there are times I think I actually feel it but could be my dizzy head. yes I believe it. after all it does turn. and I wonder why Easter was so early this year ? I mean seems to me it used to always be in April.

Easter has to do with calendar discrepancies, not the turning of the earth! But I sometimes think I can feel the earth turning in a weird spin, too....

Well it better be changing. I ordered a lot of destruction for the near future! I'd be disappointed if it doesn't do at least a little confusion up until then. :P Of course, if what I asked for really happens then oops...

Yes, in Florida, they had to repaint the directional lines to reflect the change.

I heard a news story a while back when there was a huge earthquake in Chili, South America that it had caused some shift with the earth.
