Former Detroit Lions defensive end James Jones has visited the Miami Dolphins for a second time on Friday according to a report from the Miami Herald.
Jones who was a second round draft choice of the Tennessee Titans in the 2008 National Football League Draft out of Eastern Michigan University has played defensive end for the Titans from 2008-2011, the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 and the Detroit Lions from 2013-2015.
Jones became a free agent at the end of the 2015 football season when his three year contract with the Lions expired at the end of the football season.
Jones did visit the Dallas Cowboys to seek employment with their team last month. The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are likely to make an offer to Jones to try out for the American Football Conference Eastern Division team soon.

He'll get picked up. Still mid-career with plenty of experience.
