Snacking is more about convenience, satisfying hunger fast and being creative in preparing snacks.
You can if you want, just buy those snacks like Trail Mix or dried fruit medley. or ...
You can make your own snack sacks just for the fun of it or to be frugal and healthy.
Here is a list of basic snack items that can be mixed in a baggie and eaten on the go or when stuck in heavy traffic with an hour to wait before getting off the freeway.
1. Peanuts
2. Rasins
3. Pretzels
4. Chocolate chips
5. Yoghurt covered rasins
6. Wheat thins
7. Dried fruit, mixed or all one kind you may prefer.
All you really need it time and good sense. Measure out what you need and bring it along with you on your next walk, or your next commute. I like this idea myself and will be putting together some of my own snack mixes for the next time I develop a Snack Attack!

I do enjoy little snacks in between especially when I am writing.

I used to snack while on my computer, writing but I had to stop it. I gained some weight by this activity. I had a can of dry roasted peanuts right by my PC and I would go for them every now and again. OOPS, I ended up eating too many. If you keep the snacks away in another area of the house, you will have to decide if it is worth the trip to the other part of the house just to have another snack so that way you will actually lose weight. But then you might be a weight lifter and body builder and be in the best of shape. I however find having snacks at arms length at my computer is a no no for me.
