When you are doing something artistic or have an idea, does it keep you awake?

Often when I am thinking of something I want to write or something I want to create in graphics or how to make a particular website, I will just lie in bed and think about it when I am supposed to be sleeping. My mind goes around and around. Sometimes the best thing for me to do about it is just get up and work on my project. This actually happens to me quite often. If I do happen to fall asleep then my body and mind will wake me very early, like 4 AM before anyone is awake. When the house is still and quiet, it is very easy to work.

I have things that keep me awake but they arn't necessarily artistic things. I have to fall asleep with the TV on otherwise I will just keep running over things in my mind and I will never get to sleep.

My stepson leaves his television on all night. Sometimes he leaves it too loud and it keeps ME awake. I hate that!! Sometimes I tiptoe in his room and turn it off.

if i have an idea in my head it is hard for me to sleep. i usually get up and right it down, start planning, or research it.

I think its a good idea to write it down because sometimes if you fall asleep on it, you forget it. I have had that happen and it's frustrating.
