After the busy day I had, and allergies acting up I really wasn't in the mood to cook. I had hamburger out, so decided to fry up some hamburgers. But what to have with hamburgers? We had home made french fries the night before, so NO more potatoes!! So was looking in the freezer and I found a bag of breaded green fried tomatoes from the garden last year. So I deep fat fried them. It turned out pretty good!! When I got a batch done, I decided to make sure hey were good!! Well, they were definitely HOT!! I burned my tongue!!! How do you make a burned tongue feel better? ~Peace~ photo courtesy of https://pixabay.com/en/frog-fig-funny-cheeky-1212224/

Suck on a popsicle to soothe the pain.

I think you can administer by appling ice. It will subside the burning sensation.

I agree that sucking on ice is good, but fortunately the mouth is one of the fastest spots in the body to heal, so a little patience will do it. In the meantime, don't eat any spicy food or you will be sorry.

I haven't the foggiest clue, but I hate when I do that too.
